James R. Crane
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Crane Capital Group, Inc.
Jim Crane was elected to the Nabors Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serves as Chairman of the Technology and Safety Committee, and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board.
Crane has served as Chairman and CEO of Crane Capital Group Inc, an investment management company, since 2006. Crane was Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Global Logistics, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed global transportation, supply chain management and information services company, from 1984 until its sale in August 2007. Crane Capital Group has invested in transportation, power distribution, real estate and asset management. Its holdings include Crane Worldwide Logistics, a premier global provider of customized transportation and logistics services with 105 offices in 30 countries, and Crane Freight & Cartage. Crane also led an investor group that, in 2011, purchased the Houston Astros. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Safety from Central Missouri State University and serves on the Board of Directors of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, as well as Cargojet Inc.
Crane’s experience in marketing, logistics, global operations, and creating shareholder value provide a valuable resource to the Board.
