Canrig PowerTAP™
Where highline power is available, a Canrig PowerTAP™ module can be installed to accept grid power and interface with the VFD system – directly providing all electric power to the rig without the need to run gensets. The PowerTAP™ system is designed to provide system resiliency through the option to run the gensets, with the ability to quickly switch to engine power.
